Lighten up with natural face masks
Keep your face glowing throughout the summer without sacrificing your skin’s healthy tone and natural shade. If you’ve ever wondered how much sun exposure is too much or how you can lighten your skin tone after the damage is done, I have the answers for you right here.
The best time to get your vitamin D is in the morning (between sunrise and 10:00am) and in the evening (between 5:00pm and sunset). Depending on where you live, pay attention to the sun’s cycle and give yourself about three hours after sunrise and before sunset to get the moderate sun exposure your body needs. And don’t worry if your climate is not often sunny – your skin can absorb and store a year’s supply of vitamin D from just 30 minutes of sunshine all summer long.
Now if you’ve already tanned and made the mistake of leaving your face uncovered, you could have some serious sun damage to repair. Thankfully, nature has remedies for that and with a little pampering your face will be back to beautiful in no time!

½ teaspoon milk
Whisk all ingredients together and spread on the face, avoiding the sensitive eye area. Leave for 20 minutes, then rinse with warm water.
